Hatebreed’s much-anticipated new studio album, The Divinity of Purpose, (released on Razor & Tie in the United States/Canada) has debuted at #20 on the Billboard Top 200 with over 17,400 units sold in its first week out at retail. To date, this marks the band’s highest career charting album in the U.S. The album also debuts on a series of other Billboard charts including #1 on Hard Rock, #6 on Rock, and #5on Independent. The Divinity of Purpose is available now at the iTunes Store. Hatebreed’s new album also debuted this week on a number of international charts where the album was released through Nuclear Blast. These entries include Germany at #25, Austria at #28, and the U.K. where it debuted at #12 on the rock album chart and #144 on the top album chart.

Hatebreed is currently on their first official U.S. tour in support of the new record performing panoramic sets that span their entire career alongside new album material. The tour has already performed to some sell out crowds and will run through February 17. Features special guests include label mates, Shadows Fall along with support acts, Dying Fetus and The Contortionist. Hatebreed will return to the U.K. in April for a number of headline tour dates.
